1.  The candidate can readily get admission / registration form and informations on our courses and other activities from the Institute's office on normal working days. He/She can also procure relevant informations, study materials, certificates or any other documents during his / her visit to the office.It is for this reason that candidates are always encouraged to visit the Institute's Office in person in order to get their work done instantly and also have a first hand feel of the Institute.

 

2. Our office is situated at a very accessible location on the city’s main thoroughfare. On arriving at Calcutta at the Howrah or Sealdah railway stations, one should board a bus or a taxi and head for Elgin Road/Bhowanipore. Our office is situated near the crossing of Elgin Road and Chowringhee Road. One can also avail of the country’s only underground railway service - the Metro Railway. The station nearest   to our office is Rabindra Sadan.  

 

 

3. We wish for your stay in Calcutta to be most comfortable and enjoyable. You can visit many places of interest such as the Victoria Memorial, Indian Museum, National Library, Ramkrishna Mission, Mother Terasa's Missionaries of Charity, Belur Math, Cathedral Church, Nakhoda Masjid, Nicco Park, Eden Gardens, Netaji Indoor Stadium, Science City, Salt Lake Stadium etc., and enjoy a ride on the Metro Rail.  

 

4. All remittances (fees etc.) should be sent by Cash/M.O/Draft payable to the “ Indian Institute of Alternative Medicines “. 80, Chowringhee Road, Calcutta – 700 020 ( the Bank Draft should be payable to the Indian Institute of Alternative Medicines, Calcutta).  


5. The office is situated near the crossing of Elgin Road and Chowringhee Road (Bhowanipore) in Calcutta. The office remains open from 10.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. from Monday to Friday and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. On Sunday and all gazetted holidays, the office is closed.  

 

 

6. All disputes are subject to Calcutta jurisdiction only.
