Besides the numerous stalwarts from the field of alternative medicines, the Board’s conferences have come to the attention of international figures and dignitaries from around the world who have been most forthcoming in their praise and support of these events. About IERD

The Institute of Education, Research & Development (IERD) is an internationally recognized, non-political, non-profit and independent educational body committed to the development and propagation of new age education comprising of people interested in the promotion of education at all its levels and all spheres in order to develop the latent potentials of individuals and communities.

Education is more than memory training and more than informing a child or student as to the past and its achievements. Education involves more than the investigation of a subject and the forming of subsequent conclusions leading to hypotheses which, in their own turn, lead to still more investigation and conclusions. It has a far wider application than producing a human being who will be a commercial asset and not a commercial liability. Education has other objectives than rendering life enjoyable and so enabling men and women to achieve a culture which will permit them to participate with interest in all that transpires in the three worlds of human affairs. It is all the above, but should also be much more.

Holistic education is based on the premise that each person finds indentity, meaning and purpose in life through connections to the community to the natural world and to spiritual values such as compassion and peace. Holistic education aims to call forth from people an intrinsic reverence for life and passionate love of learning and it leads ultimately to the sustainable development.

The Institute of Education, Research & Development (IERD) has successfully organized many international and national conferences.
